March 29th, 2015. My father had just bought me a camera to take on my first major overseas trip to Vietnam. My interest in photography was there, but not yet cultivated. Several years and trips later, what had started as an inkling has grown. Whereas I started as a photographer, as I grew and changed as both a person and a creative, I became less interested in being a photographer, and more interested in being a storyteller. And that’s where I am now, in the most wonderful position of not caring about the medium or method, just the ability to tell stories (although, as you can tell, I still take photos).
